Planning a stopover or holiday to Dubai this summer? If so, there might be a way to save some money and enjoy a luxury vacation for less.
Dubai has a reputation of being one of the world’s best hotspots for holidaymakers, as it offers an affordable escape while ticking all the boxes of what travelers normally expect: a relaxed outing at a beach, soaking up the sun and swimming in the tranquil water or fun-filled activities or many scenic landmarks, various attractions and adventure destinations.
This year if you are travelling with Emirates between 1 June and 31 August 2017 you might enjoy not only a great vacation but also great discounts. The “My Emirates Pass” Program is exclusively offered to international passengers holding an original boarding pass or e-boarding pass to Dubai that’s issued by the airline; it offers commuters an affordable stopover to remember with the discounts, services or benefits being offered, including but not limited to:
- Dining experiences
- Mind & Body
This makes it even more a reason to do a Dubai stopover to explore Emirates’ vibrant hub city.

So what can you see while in Dubai? Fore a relaxing vacation, you can stroll by the magnificent Persian Gulf shoreline featuring various developments (such as Jumeirah Beach and the Palm Islands, The World or World Islands in addition to the new built of Marsa Al Arab) and enjoy mouth-watering international cooking as well as many interesting and exotic dishes.
If you are looking for site-seeing adventures, you can drop in on the larger-than-life attractions (the Dubai Fountain Show or the Dubai Miracle Garden), go to see famous buildings (the edifice of Infinity Tower, Burj Khalifa and the Burj Al Arab), or take tour of a mosque highlighting Islamic architecture (Grand Mosque or else the Jumeirah Mosque) and, of course, book one of the many desert safari options. Let’s not forget the experience to hop aboard of a ‘dhow’ Arabian wooden boat cruise on Dubai Marina. You can visit Dubai Aquarium, the Underwater Zoo or Ski Dubai.
If you’d rather indulge, then you can enjoy many luxury hotels (Jumeirah Beach Hotel or Atlantis the Palm Hotel & Resort) while planning your shopping at the souks or malls around the city (the Gold Souk, Dubai Mall or Dubai Outlet Mall, or else Mall of the Emirates).
When to go? To take advantage of the Emirates’ discounts, make sure to fly to Dubai between 1 June and 31 August 2017 and save your boarding pass. However tourism in the Emirate is high year-round. The best time to visit Dubai is from November to March—the peak tourist season—where vacationers take advantage of the mild weather to go to the beach, enjoy a range of water sports, if not to relax in the sun while escaping cold at home.
